Introduced by American craft brewers in the early 1990’s, spirit and oak infused beers have become quite popular. Behind maltiness of this deep brown robust porter, you’ll find the subtle burnt flavors from the dark malts and toasted oak. The barrel aging simulation imparts a vanilla and spicy aroma, oaky smoothness, mellows the hops and a faint smoky spirit to the finish. It’s equally good with dinner or dessert or simply on its own.
