Cooking InstructionsBecause these are raw, dried premium pulses, they require pre-soaking to achieve their creamy texture:
Soak: Submerge the chickpeas in plenty of cold water for at least 8 to 12 hours (ideally overnight).
Boil: Drain and rinse. Cook in a standard pot covered with fresh water for 1 to 1.5 hours until fully soft.
Pressure Cooker Option: Cook for 30 to 40 minutes to save time and lock in nutrients.
Best For: Their large size and buttery interior make them ideal for extra-smooth hummus, cold Mediterranean salads, or traditional meat and vegetable stews (Etli Nohut).
